John C. Petrella, Partner in the firm’s Newark, New Jersey office, is Director of the Employment Law & Litigation Practice Group. 

Mr. Petrella handles employment and commercial litigation matters.

He lectures frequently on employment law matters.  He is a member of the Labor and Employment Law section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.

Since 2008, Mr. Petrella has been listed in New York Magazine's Best Lawyers in the area of Labor and Employment Law. In 2010, he was also recognized in New Jersey Monthly Magazine by Super Lawyers in Employment and Labor Law.

Mr. Petrella earned his Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law in 1988, and his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo, magna cum laude, in 1985.
